Yes Kerry has been very clear. He intends to ban them and more if he has the chance.

If you have to ask this, you haven't been paying attention for MUCH longer than a week.

Disarm the entire country and then invite the blue helmets here to help govern the serfs while we all slave to pay the new "World Tax" that Chirac has suggested

He said he would issue an Executive Order to ban AW's.

Kerry is a co-sponsor of S.1431 - a bill that dramatically expands the ban to pretty much any semi-auto firearm made.

Kerry has voted twice to kill CMP.

Take a look at these pictures:
www.thehighroad.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=102211

Looks to me like Kerry has made his plans on semi-autos very, very clear.

“Let me be very clear. I support the second amendment. I’ve been a hunter all my life.  But I don’t think we need to make the job of the terrorists any easier.  I stand with the vast majority of the American people and call on George W. Bush to protect our police – and our security – and keep assault weapons off our streets.”

Doesn't really matter what his opinion is because the closest he will get to the oval office is if GW invites him over for dinner sometime in 05'.

John Kerry won’t ban your guns because “he’s been a hunter all his life”. What a crock of horse$hit. I just received my copy of Field & Stream yesterday, and in it, they interview both Bush and Kerry.  You tell me how many “Life long hunters” would make a statement like this:

F & S :  "What’s the biggest deer you ever killed ?"

Kerry:  "Oh, I don’t know. Probably an 8-pointer, something like that. Nothing terribly big. But I once had an incredible encounter with the most enormous buck – I don’t know, 16 points or something. It was just huge. And I failed to pull the trigger at the right moment. I was hunting down in Massachusetts, on the Cape."

Right. Cape Cod, the hotbed of 16 point buck hunting. I’ve been there twice in the last 3 months, and I haven’t seen anything bigger than a 15 pointer. Maybe I’ll have better luck spotting a 16 pointer if I go back during the rut.

He's about as much of a hunter as Britney Spears is a virgin.

John Kerry and his campaign states that since he's a hunter he's pro- Second Amendment.... That's the same as telling me that if Micheal Jackson were to sleep w/ 18yo midgets in a boy scout uniform, he's just like me.

Hunting ain't got shit to do with my RKBA.

Look no further than his voting record.  I believe that if more people took the time to review his voting history on the RKBA (and all other matters) they would not vote for him come November.

It does not matter. He will never be elected!

Lets be clear on this.  Kerry has not stated at all, what he would do about anything as President.  He has only stated that he thinks he would do whatever it is he intends to do, better than the current President.  We can surmise from his voting records that he would be perhaps the most anti gun President in US history.  This is however only a guess as the man has yet to state any definitive platform on anything other than the fact that he did serve for a period of time in vietnam while an officer in the US Navy.  Other than that he has stated with absolute clarity of purpose and conviction, absolutely nothing. Now, he may know what his plans are, but he is working extrememly hard at not telling anyone at all what his plans and positions are. Hope that bit of factual analysis helps clarify your upcoming choice.

I guess you missed the pics of him holding dear old Mrs. Brady close eh?  That speaks volumes to me.

I don't have a link to the pics but here's my re-enactment of the photo op.

This guy has voted AGAINST most everything that we here see as the cornerstones of America.

Conversely he's voted FOR just about every socialist type program that has ever been proposed.  His voting record is MORE "liberal" than Ted "The Corpulent Tick" Kennedy.

Couple that with his total lack of any sort of moral compass and statements that show he would seek UN and EU agreement before taking any actions in THIS nation's interest and that is MORE than enough.

And yet there are people so blinded that they will still cast their vote for this man because "He's not Bush!"
