I cut myself on the finger while washing dishes about 3 weeks ago and still have the cut. Really hasn't healed or anything and breaks open when I take a shower.

I am in my 20's, what could be the cause of this?

you might be a diabetic i would look into this diabetics have trouble healing

get tests to see if your a diabetic it would be better to catch it early instead of ending up

Ummm could it be it's in a spot that the skin is always stretching?

On or near a joint area.

I've cut my finger to the bone a few times this last year it was 100% healed within 2 weeks.

If it's not on a joint, you have some blood/clotting issues.

Is the cut on an area that "hinges' alot? You arent letting it heal and when you shower, you lossen all the clotting.

I cut myself ALL the time and I get cuts once in a while that takes a long time to heal.

diabetes. Big increase in Type-2 weight-related cases in recent years.
Other immune deficiencies.
Lack of decent rest / sleep.
Poor nutrition
