well since AR180's use AR15 mags, I see no reason why you couldnt slap a Beta mag in

Remember, however, that the original AR-180 does not use the M16 mag, unless you cut a slot in it and smooth the hump in the side.

The AR-180B is designed to take M16 mags.

Just thought that I'd mention that I'd feel pretty bad about cutting a slot in a $250 Beta C-Mag.

Perhaps towers for the original AR-180 will again become available.

$250 Beta C-Mag.

No real reason to post this. Just makes me feel happy!

I really don't understand the appeal of the Beta C-mags.  Even at $250, four USGI 30's are now less than $50 all together, and that's 120 rounds.

I guess full auto guys really dig the extended mag dumps, but it seems like a lot of weight to tote around on the weapon, especially on a semiauto.

I must admit that I agree with AvengeR15.  And the 30rd mags should become even cheaper as the market smooths out.

But, obviously, 100rds is a magic number to many.

Cause bump firing 30's is kinda like a sex with premature ejaculation, once you really get into you've already shot your load.
