Before we rush to condemn, I'd point out that a lot of foreign-born citizens (citizens, not resident aliens) are better educated about the way the US works than natural born folks.

If you don't like the person or the platform (or in the case of some folks around here, merely the party), then nobody's twisting your arm to vote for them.

Now, allowing resident aliens, legal or illegal, to vote, run, hold office, etc... that I do call a bad idea. But a naturalized citizen is exactly that, a citizen.
