Why cant we do something about her going around and spreading LIES, How many times can she go before committe and congress on C Span or any other news channel and lie.

No they are not liable for perjury... They are immune from arrest for anything said and some things done on the floor, going from, or coming to congress... You couldn't even give her a speeding tocket if she is going or coming... The rule was put in there by the founders so that the police could not be used to intimidate a politician or keep them from being present for a vote... |

Actually, no.
It's in the constitution somewhere, I'll try looking it up for the exact words, but it basically says that a senator or rep. can not be prosecuted or arrested for anything that they say on the floor. The exact words are a little clearer than my explination, but I'll try to find it. |
