FWIW, "Stryker Brigades" are the newest toy in the Army. As such they get all the good toys and high-tech stuff, that perhaps the "legacy" Army may see in a few years. So there is a plus for the Stryker brigades.
Either way you are going to Iraq. |

TRH: Yes, Stryker Brigade have a Reconnaisance, Surveillance, and Target Acquisition (RSTA) Squadron. That squadron contains three recon troops mounted in Strykers plus a Surveillance troop that has various gadgets including UAVs and ground-surveillance radars.

13 Bravo aka cannon crewmember but we don't get to see any of the fun, the 13 Foxes or FiSTERS get to see that well maybe the 11B's whose ass we're saving too. |

Stryker infantry squads are light infantry assigned to the Stryker Brigades. I dont think they have a specific MOS except for maybe the driver and TC; the one I work with has everyone cross trained on all other positions due to mission profile so I'm not too sure about the ICV.

if you pick scout you are gaurenteed scout, if you pick 11b thay can still send you to a conventional infantry unit, and than you will be a 11b who doesnt work on strykers, your best bet would be to reclass for 19d and than ask for station of choice at ft lewis.
13bs make the biggest bangs, but the job is boring and it sucks, i know i am one. started out enlisting for scout, had a backed up school date and picked a new job, one of the dumbest things i ever did. and theyre right, either way ur gonna end up over here, hell no matter what you do ur gonna end up here sooner or later. glr, broadcasting live from iraq catch yall later |
