I thought that companies were working around the clock producing mags for the anticipated end of the ban.

I want to see some NIW 30 rounders for $8-9.

They had to be manufactured after the ban, otherwise they had to be marked as LEO only.

Manufacturing delay, distribution delay.  heck UPS takes a while to get anywhere.

Don't kid yourselves dudes.  Mag prices will go down, but not to pre '94 levels.  10 years of inflation and 'cost of goods sold' increases added to the market knowing that we are willing to pay a premium for desirable mags will only let the prices sink just so far...  Remember that these companies are in it for a profit...

Were there ever good new production mags below $10?

Not that I ever bought. I see no reason they'll be that cheap now.

Consider yourself lucky. Here, it's about double what it was in 1994.  Of course, I was in CA a few months ago and paid over $3/gallon.

my main focus is not NIW mags.

im thinking about the old beaters that people have used for 10 years.

its very possible that these mags wil be much cheaper than 10 bucks.

still waiting to see these prices...may be a few months.
