Don't pretend like those of you who said it didn't say it.  I remember some of you who did.  So, how do you feel now that it's sunset?  I'm happy, but my credit cards need a break.

I was one who thought it wouldn't sunset. I believed that GWB would sell out the AWB for another tax cut.

I didn't realize that the Democrats didn't want their votes recorded on the legislation either.

I still have my doubts as to if it will last long. Less than a year?

I had always thought that there would be no way in hell that the ban would sunset without a more destructive piece of legislation to replace it.  Glad I am wrong.

For now.

The next ban attempt, should it pass, will be devastating.  I do not expect confiscation, but something along the lines of the California ban.  And, kiss all .50 cal. rifles goodbye.

If you have the urge, get something funky while you can.  I think I am going to...just thinking through the details.

I was blind, but now I see!!!!  I'm glad that I was wrong, but you have to admit that the liberal media and politicians put on quite a "snow job" to the citizenry!

Not as long as we've got DeLay in the House as majority leader.

Honestly, I never thought it would go away.
Maybe because I have seen us get screwed so many times.
I'm happy as hell that its gone but the shithead liberals won't stop, be ever vigilant !!

I never thought that it would go away.  I figured the miserable socialists would figure out some way to keep it going.

I certainly don't think the end of the AWB will be the end of the gun grabbers efforts, but I'm relieved for now.  Got more things on my wishlist right now than I have money, but I'm getting that prioritized.
