... it's going to be before a major incident happens involving an 'ASSAULT WEAPON' that would have been 'kept off the streets' had the ban been renewed?

I give it 45 days. It will definately happen BEFORE the election.

MIAMI - A Miami-Dade County police officer was shot several times after a driver she stopped fired nearly two dozen bullets at her with an AK-47 assault rifle.

The officer, whose name was not released, was in stable condition Sunday at Jackson Memorial Hospital with a wound to the shoulder, police said. She was also grazed on the forehead in shooting. . .

I posted this same concern after FOX News still misreported what the ban "banned" and what its sunset now makes available.

While the issue is in the news, contact the cable channels and set them straight.
