The fat lady has a big performance to prepare for on Monday 9-13. Now that she's done kicking Diane Feinstein's grotesque ass, what's she doing today to prepare for her song on Monday?

The fat lady begins her performance with the close of business today in Congress. She will reprise the performance to thunderous applause at Midnight on Monday, but the premier performance is at approximately 5 PM EDT today.

My parents told me that the saying "It's not over till the Fat Lady sings", came from WWII. It was Kate Smith who sang "God Bless America" during the war years. I do remember her having a weekly entertainment show in the 50's and every night at the end of the show she would sing that song.
Does anyone remember this or am I off base? |
