went shooting the other day in the desert.. i was tyring to freeze the brass in the air but ended up catching some bullets in flight as well.. kinda neat

~1400fps
shutter speed was 1/2000 which means that in 1/2000 of a second the bullet traveld 8.4"

Pretty cool camera shot...can see the projectile in flight in the last 2 pretty well.

He uses a Canon Digital Rebel I believe, but I couldn't tell ya what lens that's with, but maybe a F1.8 in 50mm?

Its a canon 300D digital rebel.. I am using the kit lens in those photos its 18-55mm f3.5-5.6. It is rougly equivalent to the 28-80 because of the 1.6x crop factor that comes with the smaller digital cmos sensor.

Yes, you did Lumpy, that's one of the best uses for the collapsible stock. Then the "wee folk" can really run the rifles hard. She's still rolling her head onto the stock tho. Poor cheek weld.

well.. my stance was good.. coulda had my elbow down a little more, but heck i was making a 3" group at 25yards full auto.. man i love mp5's
