Beautiful pics.  Few things inspire awe like seeing the Blue Angels or Thunderbirds.

I have had some Blackhawks flying over work but haven't been able to get a close photo yet!

Nice - I saw them out there last year.  Sitting at the end of the runway in the grass is the BEST (right off the airport), because they come in low and fast for a lot of the stunts right over you.

And I think I HEARD them today - because I was out at Boone's Crossing in the valley (buying liquorice at World Market ) while the airshow was going on.

What do they sell at the world market? I have always wondered? After the airshow I went to Tucker's for dinner and then I went to Golf Galaxy to look at iorns.

It's an interesting combination of crap and really good stuff.

They've got a lot of cheap asian "furnishings" and knick-knacks, and useless candles, pillows, and stuff like that.  But, they also have some nice occasional pieces of wooden furniture.

And they have an really good wine selection with very good prices, and often have very good candy (especially foreign stuff) that can be hard to find in other places.



I mostly go there for the candy - my fiancee goes for the wine, since she is much more sophisticated than me.
