That's really great to hear. I had a friend from an old job who finished his master at the Seminary in Fort Worth. He was absolutely disgusted with the church politics (everywhere he went) and decided on the Chaplin Corps. We got an occassional letter from him at work after he joined. He gave nothing but RAVE reviews.
He honestly said that he found his true calling and regretted not going in earlier.
You'd do well by giving him a little nudge in that direction. The job satisfaction is apparently A+.
By the way - Chaplins get Army school slot like everyone else. Our Chaplin at Bragg was an 'Airborne Ranger Chaplin.'
