I have tired of the constant posts in every pre-ban gun listing regarding the price being too high, the ban ending etc. The EE rules state
9. Absolutely no stomping on other peoples posts. Do not remark in any way that would negatively impact the salability of someone’s merchandise. So if some guy has a beat to shit pre-ban that he wants $ 5k keep your thoughts to yourself. The market will correct these issues over time. I don't like locking accounts, people complain, I have to respond to E-mails, it's a big time waster (plus I don't like throwing people off the site who are otherwise probably good guys); but at this point it seem like the only way to put an end to this nonsense. editted to add "Please" to title  |

Outstanding. I get sick of that crap too. People get used to throwing their comments around on the discussion boards and forget that the EE has a separate set of rules and standards.

It ain't looking like a family yardsale. As I type, illegal btt's , editing by posting, guys not posting prices, chit chat back and forth ect ect. The EE needs full time constant Mods IMO and or limit it to paying members. Its out of hand guys and it is not going to get better without some kind of action. |

I got pissed on by a Team member a few days back. I dealt with it thru IM but it did tick me off a bit. He went back in the thread after I asked him and unpissed.

I had a local gunsmith want to charge me $299 to turn down my barrel and thread for a FH. The probable story is the guy doesn't need the business.....OK by me.

I forget which section it was in, but no long ago there was a very brief, concise ad for somethingortheother, with a small but adequate pic attached.
The first poster to respond wrote, basically, "Hey! I've got one just like that for sale! Here's some pics of mine"...followed by roughly 4-friggin'-MB of high resolution pics. Bad form. Very bad form. |

Why does it bother anyone when someone posts a price. You dont have to buy it. Sometimes people fishing. They will throw a line out and see if anything bites. I sold a SAR 8 with butthole stock for $1900. Someone wanted it bad enough in 94. So I said fine!

What about deliberate misinformation, such as the guy who said his 'PISTOL' lower was worth $800 because it said 'PISTOL' on the side, and that you HAD to buy one like his to legally make an AR pistol? |

I think it's rare case where any of the jailhouse lawyers should be chiming and getting into fights in the EE. If some dopesays you still can't buy leo mags or whatever it's up to the buyer to check on his claims. In my experience the EE lawyers are wrong about 60%+ of the time anyway. |
