Illegally smuggling weapons into a foreign country is not unlike breaking other severe laws?

Huh?
I told the fellow to buy once he got there! I'm not advocating breaking any country's laws!
I'll stand up like our heroes at the Alamo for protection of American rights - but foreign entities have their own standards. In my true American spirit, I leave them the freedom of choice on how to run their own countries. If that counrty is tyrannical - let the citizens rebel - hey, we did it here. If one offers the retort of, "How can they rebel w/o firearms?" I say that they allowed themselves to reach that position - its their own undoing.

That's quite nice.
So, do you think Generalissimo Santa Anna was correct in attempting to smash the Texans because they were importing arms from the United States for the purpose of protecting themselves from Indian raids and the like, and from a brutal dictatorship in Mexico City!
Remember the 'Twin Sisters'?
Two cannon that were a gift to the people of Texas from the Citizens of Cincinnati, Ohio?
They got here just in time for the Battle of San Jacinto!
