Gaspain, that's awesome. What's the make? Is it fickle? What are the bells and whistles.

You do know that the ATF reads this website?
I sure wouldnt be posting pics of Cubans Treelander Its tough keeping a humidor in Arizona. So I broke down and a rented a locker in a climate controlled walk in humidor. My cigars are soooo much happier and so is my wallet. The locker is free and I can order a couple of boxes at a time because the cigars keep so well. |
|
Nice, I use to love cigars then one day just couldn't stand them. Still love the smell hate the taste now. Not sure why. |

You know.....those things will kill you.
I'm joking, I smoke now and then, however, I don't have a "stash." |

How did you get/keep the probe(?) part in the fridge? Is it just stuck in side and the door closed on the lead...or is there a good way/place to drill the fridge body. That is a killer set up! |
|
the fridge comes with a drain hole in the back, just jammed it up that then sealed it up. The only time Ive had the fridge compressor running was during really hot days 90F+ ; most of the time I can leave it unplugged and it stays at 69-70F just by itself. What really impressed me was the stable insulation properties of the fridge- it barely swings 1 or 2 degrees, which is great for the lifespan of the gars. More importantly is the Oasis is also rock solid and is always at 70-70.5 humidity and only kicks on after I open the door. |

I dont have a stash since i ussaly buy 1 or 2 at a time then smoke em right away within the week,

Those cigars are about five years old. My sisters ex-boyfriend was on their board of directors so I got a bunch free, and then a shop had a blowout on them for 20 bucks a box so I got a couple more. They are a decent smoke, nothing great but definitely better than some. I like the Sumatra wrapper, medium bodied and spicey. Now my humidor has more Partagas Black Labels in them which are my current favorite smoke. Plus I have about 5 cubans that people have given me. I'm one of the few that don't get the cuban hype. I've had maybe ten, and about five of those weren't very good and the other five were good but not that much better than a Nicaraguan puro or any other decent cigar. Eh, to each his own. I've actually been enjoying the Drew Estate Acid and Natural line of cigars. The construction isn't top notch, but OK, and they smoke nicely and don't offend those around quite as much. The Root and Earthiness are my favorites. |

Good looking stuff.
I no longer smoke but I remember the days when I did and I'd pick up a few Cuban smokes when I'd do my rum run to Nogales and those things were so smooth I'd smoke 'em like cigarettes. I'll admit, I sometimes DO miss smoking a good cigar. |

thanks. |

I think the thing with cubans is most people get a fake think its real and go either "blah that was terrible or bah no big deal"
I had a real cuban when I was in england and it was great |
|
I'm disappointed. I fully expected to see one of those ammo cans full of cigars.
|
|
Fully jealous here. I haven't been able to afford cigars for some time now. Last one I had was a Davidoff Tubos about 2 years ago.
I've got a very nice humidor just gathering dust on one of my shelves. Currently it's a very pretty box with nothing in it. |
|
www.cigarbid.com You can buy five pack for pretty cheap and the often run box specials for about $20 for decent cigars. |
