too many scammers

I bid on some poker chips without paying too much attention to the seller. Come to find out he has a ton of negative feedback on his $100+ auctions and perfect feedback on his $1 auctions. And he only accepts money orders/cashiers checks.

Don't have a problem with ebay. Great hard to find stuff, Posters, Gun Parts etc etc.
Accept a while back I ordered weights and when I got them they where some shitty plastic things with sand in them.

My coworker had someone on Ebay ell him some spinners that didnt fit the Rism he got from the same guy. It got abit more involved then that.

Anyone want some spinners?

Actually Ebay reminds me of the flea markets, bunches of worthless crap that could not be sold anywhere else, with a useful item poking up every now and then. I have gotten car parts off of Ebay for a lot less than the local salvage yard wanted, I have also bought computer parts that were of such poor quality I decided to not install them in my machines.

I got car parts myself. The headlights and a few other things went ok, but the parts for the body got really messed up.

I recently talked someone out of getting computer parts from there.

I'm not one bit bothered that Ebay doesn't sell firearms. They don't sell booze either. So what?

All it did was create two perfectly good, gun-friendly alternatives. gunbroker & auction arms.

So, their stupidity created more business for REAL gun people.

I use ebay all the time. 500+ positives, no negatives, and never even once been burnt. How is that possible you ask? I don't buy from people who have crappy feedback or crappy policies, and whala. I've had some non-paying bidders, but they didn't get anything from me, I report them, collect my fees and move on. Big deal.

Ebay is fine for what it is, a flea market. Caveat Emptor.
