Wow. Talk about the man upstairs giving a person a little "hint" about what just happened. |
|
The trash asked to have the head back so they "could have a proper burial" WTF?
|
|
Cyanide, aside from what the girl did, you don't think the Dr. should be sued? |
|

Abortion absolutely makes me f..ckin' MAD, SICK and PISSED. This is MASS murder at a RETAIL level, people. Nobody stopped Hitler before it was too late, you know. Fu..ckin' abortion, how PATHETIC and SAD!

If only this would happen more often....
The way the laws in Britain and the U.S. are, we can't just jump up and stop these people. But some more of these souveniers might drop the rates a bit. - BUCC_Guy |

The wordnetdaily is a joke. They find stuff that fits with their editorial policy and print it up with a slant and fact checking that wouldn't fly in a local pennysaver. It's the National Enquirer for religious conservatives.

Did she suffer did she have any ill effects I guess it depends - if all it was about was a piece of tissue left behind, and found latter - very little monetary renumeration if any. |

Original article->www.voice-online.net/content.php?show=4695&type=1
Just about all "worldnetdaily" did was find the article with google and copy it to their website after rewording it a little. No fact checking or independent reporting, just a cut and paste job because it was a negative article about abortion. I guess if you think The Voice is a credible source of news then that's fine, but basically worldnetdaily finds articles from other sources that are anti abortion/ anti-gay/pro school prayer and reprint them. They do seem to have broken the story of Al Gore getting a speeding ticket on their own. |

That is so BOGUS its funny. SOP for a later D and E states that all major body parts must be accounted for. I doubt any doc is going to stop if they cant fucking locate the head. For some medically required abortions I have no problems. This kid was not salvagable due to the medications that she already took. Most likely severe deformities. When I was a resident it was my job to count the damn parts. If you didnt get a torso, arms and legs and a head, you had to dig for it. If you couldnt find it you had to open her up. Again I dont condone the practice for normal children but if you have massive deformities or the woman is going to die without one then its justified. Extremely unpleasant procedure that I hope I never see again.

|
This story is right up there with the "I married a space alien".
|
|
Here's my question: When we show gory pics of mutilated bodies, there's always a disclaimer. IF you are of the opinion that abortion is wrong because it's murder, then where's the disclaimer? A full grown human that is mutilated deserves a gore warning, but not parts of an aborted fetus? Could someone explain that logic? Im not saying abortion is right or wrong. i am saying posting graphic pictures without some warning is wrong. i have lost my apetite. |

Is what a fact or lie? |

Oh, well it sounds unlikely and the original newspaper does not appear to strive for high levels of journalism. All it really is is some lady in England with a wildass story. I suppose it could be true but a real reporter would have done more than just ask her what happened and type it up, like talk to a gynecologist to find out if something like this is likely/possible or interview her boyfriend who was supposedly there, or get a release from her to look at her medical records or try to talk to her actual doctor v. just making a call to the hospital. I don't think enough information is provided to realistically judge whether it is true or not, I think one would have to be pretty gullible to accept it as being true without further information.

Now you've lost me, Aimless! Are we supposed to think ill of Joseph Farah, a Benefactor Member of the NRA who collects...well, let's just say that he says he has been to this website on many occasions...who is the founder, editor and owner of worldnetdaily.com? That seems rather pointless for any of us to do, doesn't it? Worldnetdaily.com publishes news articles and opinion pieces that most of us would never see elsewhere, so why limit yourself so unnecessarily? BTW, they always give correct attribution to whatever news source they use, so I think they are OK legally! And that's all you and I should worry about!
Well, since they included a pic that they attributed to The Voice, don't you think that they had permission from the other paper to do just that? What was your beef, again? Are you representing The Voice nowadays?
How do you know this? Again, is it because you actually represent The Voice that you know such matters? Are you simply trying to say that a news source might have run this article to serve its own political.social.cultural outlook? And that would never happen with those two stawarts of journalistic intergrity and objectivity, the New York Times, or the Washington Post, now would it?
Much like the Liberal Press seeks out PRO ABORTION/PRO-GAY/ANTI SCHOOL PRAYER stories? Are you saying that the owners, the editors, and such at worldnetdaily.com have an agenda? And the other news sources don't ? Too bad you
And you'd rather that story was buried, as well? Right along with that little fetus's head, I suppose? Eric The(See,IToldYouNotToGoThere)Hun |
|||||
|
Agreed. Perhaps a little closer to the Weekly World News at times, but with less Elvis, more Jesus. Ed Anger, Editor. |

Whether the guy gives money to the NRA or not it's still a collection of articles that he almost exclusively pulls off the wire services, it's just the opposite end of the political spectrum from the Village Voice- liberals read bullshit stories about the President having procured abortions for his girlfriend even though it's bs it fits in with how they want the world to be so they like it, you read BS articles that pander to your political viewpoint on the worldnetdaily and like it, same thing, it tells you what you WANT to hear, without regard for the accuracy of the stories.
Oh I like the little dig about claiming that I would want the story buried Well nothing wrong with fairy tales, if you prefer the Worldnetdaily over the Brother's Grimm or Punisher Comics it's a free country. |
|
You still haven't answered the question - is the story a fact or a lie, and what is your basis for your decision. You want to weasel, I don't want you to weasel. Either answer the question directly, counselor, or admit that you can't and move on. Eric The(Simple?NestCePas?)Hun |
|
|
That's no answer at all, Aimless, just the same old tired weasel answer that you had previously given us.
Court Reporter, I wish to have my question and the depondent's response certified. We'll have to let the Judge decide if that is a sufficient answer. Eric The(Litigious)Hun |

Wait, there's more:
Poste from Aimless -
And your basis for saying that such an occurrence is impossible or extremely unlikely is....? I would like to voir dire this witness on his competency to testify as a medical expert. Eric The(StillLitigiousAfterAllTheseYears)Hun |

How about the phone conversation I just had with my girlfriend who is a doctor?
Sorry, she refused to examine the photo. |
|
LOL I hope you're not like this in front of a jury. I don't think it'd play well around here, much less in the more genteel south.
|

20 million babies killed in the last 30 years.
60 million murders walking the streets. Burn in hell mother fuckers. SGatr15 |

Hearsay, counselor! You should know better than that!
Refused, counselor? Or would her answers be contradictory to your position in this matter? Eric The(Rascally)Hun |

That article is bullshit. Photoshop city.
I'm sure of it. Anyway, I'm solidly in favor of a woman's right to make her own choices, even if it might be one that's morally wrong according to your or my moral compass. Hell, I wish a lot MORE people had been aborted a long time ago before they started stinking up the planet! I wish for retroactive abortions. There are millions of dirtbags walking the streets that the world would not miss. CJ |

Sadly she has had to examine POCs before (products of conception I think) from miscarriages. She's a mess for quite awhile afterwards Normally she gets someone else to do them for her. Dealing with sometimes thick headed and contrary clients doesn't seem too bad after hearing about that |

Yes, I can assure you that your attitude would be very appreciated around these parts, as well. I do quite well in front of juries, thank you ever so kindly! Eric The(ComeToTexasAndSee)Hun |

I'm nearly undefeated for about the past 5 years now, and well, that one guy was REALLY guilty. Silk purses and sows ears and all. |

I believe that is the reaction the article was intended to elicit. |
|

Wow! I would never have guessed that! You wouldn't be putting the shuck to me now, would you, Son? Naw, that's right, you're a prosecutor, huh? You should be batting a .1000 in NY! Pigs ears, and all. Eric The(Jes'ACountryBoyAtHeart)Hun |

Prosecutor? nyuck, nyuck you smartazz
Well past my bedtime kids, have a good night. Country boy? This ain't exactly da Bronx up here. Bet I've raised and slaughtered more hogs, chickens, cattle than y'all. Heck my dad was a county ag agent for decades. There probably isn't a farmer in 200 miles that doesn't recognize my last name. Too bad the way things are around here there are a lot less of them than there was when I was a kid. |

Might play just right actually. That would be a perfect tactic.. Assume that the evidence is valid out of hand, and put the other side on the defensive trying to prove that it is not. There's nothing but an unverified story passed around between publications whose editorial views would be well served by a valid article of this type. Neither side has advanced any evidence beyond the article, but somehow the debate has flopped from "did it happen?" to "did it not?". Hun, you know your stuff, and I damn sure wouldn't want to face off in a court or a serious debate forum That said, such tactics are smoke and mirrors. They certainly don't get anyone any closer to the truth, much the opposite usually. Good in an attorney, but if that sort of logic starts to invade a guy's head, he's liable to join the Hare Krishnas or something. It's a bit like the bigfoot thread. Nobody can prove they don't exist, but the True Believers are more than happy to see you try. I already showed MY editorial bent regarding the story in question, but I did really appreciate the lesson in rhetoric. Apologies if I butted in! |

Nice language, I lose more and more respect for you with each new post you make. Sin is sin, and I'm assuming we can agree that sin, the unforgiven kind is the enemy of God. Using that kind of language on a public forum where children often lurk and post is sin and is no different than performing or having an abortion performed on you. Think about it. Matt 12:33-37 33 "Make a tree good and its fruit will be good, or make a tree bad and its fruit will be bad, for a tree is recognized by its fruit. 34 You brood of vipers, how can you who are evil say anything good? For out of the overflow of the heart the mouth speaks. 35 The good man brings good things out of the good stored up in him, and the evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in him. 36 But I tell you that men will have to give account on the day of judgment for every careless word they have spoken. 37 For by your words you will be acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned." NIV |

Post from WinstonSmith -
No apologies necessary, my friend! We love hearing other folks talk about us. Good or bad, it hardly makes any difference, but it does increase awareness of us, doesn't it? You may not always be able to count on attorneys, but you can always count on attorneys to be prima donnas ! Of that, I am certain that Aimless will agree! If he were still up! Eric The(NoDoze)Hun |

Wasn't trying to be flippant! The art of persuasive discussion isn't something we network geeks get into much (beyond the occasional begging for new gizmos or talking the boss into a little network downtime for some hard deathmatch action), so watching an exchange like this can be a learning experience whether or not we agree on the topic discussed.
Ok, maybe a little flippant on the bigfoot thing.. Those guys really should look into a nice Haldol script.. But you're ok Hun, and a complete hoot to see in action. If we all agreed on everything all the time around here... Well, the +1's would really get annoying quick. ps- My devil's spawn Liberal Womens Clinic Inc. nurse just took a peek at the picture. She doesn't think it's legit and agreed with ARDOC regarding SOP for abortions. She'd never survive cross-examination though, she's never been present for a D&C and is more or less only familiar on paper. They can refer, but not perform. Of course with what I've heard about the English medical establishment I wouldn't be overly surprised to find out it's all true. |
