Soldiers fishing in Iraq

A Tuscaloosa, Ala., bait shop has devised a way to help troops in Iraq continue to enjoy fishing despite being in a war zone.

It started with a recent issue of Bassmaster Magazine carried an article about servicemen fishing in the Tigris and Euphrates rivers. The tackle and equipment they are using was handmade and crude.

So now the The Worm Shack is accepting donations and hopes to send tackle to fishermen in Iraq.

It requests that all tackle donated be new or in very good condition. For more information, log onto www.wormshack.com.
