while you sit in your shitty 1942 T60 tank with the hatches welded shut?
Apparently this thing in Ukraine is about to get sporty. If this story is true a massive amount of drones are going to be headed to Russias front line while the tanks and troops are stuck in the spring mud. Attached File Attached File Eminent drone attack “Recently, it has become known that, in terms of drones, buyers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine have bought up almost the entire market of FPV drone components in China, according to indirect estimates, by 50-100 thousand units,” Ukraine fighting a war with Chinese shit, beating Russia with their alies crap. Can we buy tickets to this event? This is not a Ukraine thread, this is not a EV thread, this is not a covid thread. It is not even a EV drone with covid attacking Ukraine thread. |

Forget the war aspect.
I would shoot sporting drone clays all day long. Instead of them flying across you and away. They come straight at you from various points. We can’t be that far away from making them cheap enough |

I'm sure those drones won't have any issues carrying those RPG warheads.............
Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight. |

Vlad can give Turkey a call. They have plenary of cheap shitty shotguns it seems.

Check out 'Angle has Fallen' and the drone attack there!!!!! Shotguns will be of little use!!!!

View Quote Initially I would think the same, but the reality may be different because the warhead is actually a shape charge with a standoff fuze, so a large part of that thing is just empty space. So it might weigh about half of what you expect. |

Yes. Imagine drones with an explosive charge, and facial recognition. Have swarms of them over cities just flying around recording everything. Half would be on the charger, rotating out at a consistent rate so they are always there. Yeah, I can imagine.

View Quote I have no doubt there are drone that can easily carry RPG heads, those drones, I doubt it. |

That pic looks fake as fuck. I know racing drones are powerful but those artillery shells strapped to them seem way too heavy...

Next up in 21st century weapons development is an intercontinental drone delivery vehicle that drops a million drones over major cities with an explosive charge of one ounce and a thermal seeker with proximity fuzing. Regular Terminator level warfare is where we’re headed. All we need now is AI directed ISSR and AI C2. Great.

I have a 5” that can easily got 150+ MPH straight up. Those look like 7”s - and they don’t need to be able to do power loops or come back and land. |

I guess I'd try to counter by finding where the drones are being made, resort to nuclear weapons, and be barbaric to the population. Otherwise you'd get picked off little by little.

Warheads were the last iteration. Now they are turning the launch tube into the drone chassis.
This drone-mounted RPG is terrifying |

The absolutely staggering incompetence and stupidity of GD never ceases to amaze me.

Quoted: You know that the PG7V is almost entirely hollow - right? Most of the weight is the boost charge and rocket and neither of those are attached. View Quote ... and so is a Nimitz Class aircraft carrier. Those 120mm canon rounds weight just under 100 pounds each, about 75 times more a FPV drone can carry. |

At this point I think it safe to say Ukes are the subject mater experts on IEDD, Improvised Explosive Drone Devices. I don't doubt they can get them off the ground. It is actually is an EV thread. They battery has to be kept small to offset weight. With increase thrust comes increased power drain. Those aren't going to lotter very long. |

For a one way flight, they're probably modding / overvolting them too
Quoted: Don’t RPG projectiles weigh about 5ish pounds? View Quote Yes, including the rocket, which I gather is the majority of the weight. |
