$140 tank of gas.
$4 loaf of bread $5bag of beans $12 bag of rice. How are people keeping afloat in this shit? |

Spending less and/or making more money, and/or going into / adding to debt.
Or it’s free, swipe yo EBT. I had to let go of one of the maids. House staff is down to 6 now. |

Here in the lower-48, it is not quite that bad, but the cost of living especially in Democratic-controlled Kalifornia is pretty high, I paid $2 for a loaf of bread, whereas pre-pandemic I was only paying $1. I go to the local dollars store, I imagine that bread is probably higher in the unionized supermarkets.
And I rarely go out to eat because a Big Mac(btw I don't eat this, this is just for illustrative purposes) is like $8. But I do cook my own food, it doesn't quite taste as good as the restaurant food, but it is way healthier with lower salt and cheap fats. I can afford to put dried tomatoes on my pasta for example, in the commercial food places, they just use more salt and/or fat. |

For food, it's still ridiculously easy to make a cheap meal. It's probably cheaper to buy a chicken than to raise one.

The only glue holding this shit sandwich together at this point is the amount of free loaders on the dole.
We would be at levels of violence, orders of magnitude greater than the summer of love otherwise. It’s almost as if this is all orchestrated. Honk Honk |

But the ice is free! I’m here all week, tip your server, goodnight.

I've been placing Biden I did that stickers whenever I find high prices.
I'm looking for some small elections have consequences stickers to put up too. We need to find a way to break through to the morons that vote like there is no repercussions for their vote. |

Bread being 4-5 bucks a loaf at the store, I can make my own for about $2.30 a loaf of comparable size with much better quality. The problem is most people dont know how to cook and are beholden to the big Ag or fast food machine. |

We’ve cut back on some things. I’m not going into debt for some asshole politicians bad decisions.

Credit use is nearing an all time high, and savings are dropping.
Should be an indicator of how the middle class is handling it. |

Being a fat guy sucked until I convinced myself to get in gear and diet. I eat healthier which is a little more expensive but I also eat probably half or more than I used to so I’m saving money.
It’s the three kids that eat everything that is costing me a fuck load. |

Not as severe as Dubya’s final year but definitely noticeable. I believe Fox characterized 2008 as “ free markets being free markets “ so let’s continue to roll with that guidance.

When I bought my house the septic pump was bad. It was I think around $230. It failed august 9th of this year and was $350. It was bad and the replacement 4 months and 6 days later was $418 but they did warranty exchange thankfully.

We did some serious debt reduction the past 2 years. The only reason my savings isn't going up is I'm paying off debt fast. Just the two of us, so we can live fairly cheap. Didn't buy a house above our means. Didn't buy expensive vehicles. Don't take expensive vacations. So, we're able to stay ahead of the inflation so far. Mostly working from home saves fuel, too.

Quoted: It really sucks right now. And its only going to get worse and prices are not going to come down. View Quote anyone who thinks prices will come down is pants on head retarded. it's going to normalize with inflated wages the fed said they wanted to inflate their way out of the debt crisis but i'm not smart enough in that area to know if that's what's actually unfolding or not. |
