I can keep all 19 shots on a 8” splatter target @25 yards with my SP01, fairly consistently, standing of course.

Before times (30 years ago), very good.
Now, not as good as I'd like to be. Pretty good at 10 yards. Is this a challenge thread? I'll duel the next guy who posts. 10 yards, one handed, on the honor system. |
|
Headshot on a jackrabbit at 109 yards. I also shoot a LOT of pistol.

I'm better with my 1911's but I don't carry those I carry a Glock 29 now. I have practiced with it 4 range visits and got a lot better with it and then stopped and said that's good enough |

I don’t go to the range to take photos, but I’ve been working my way up to taking a deer with my .44 and open sights. Definitely good to go at 25 yards offhand, at 50 yards, I need some more work. Maybe should try it when wearing my glasses.

Good enough I can scare the paper target.....its much cheaper to be able to use the same one over and over knowing when you hit it.....

I routinely train on steel C-Zones out to 150 yards. Once you know your hold over it’s not that difficult as long as there isn’t a wind.

I qualify every six months. Standing, kneeling, barricade, and from retention. 3 to 25 yards with 60 rounds.
We also do low light with a flashlight. 3 to 15 yards with 40 rounds. All are fired on Q-targets. I usally have one round outside the scoring line. |
|
I was able to keep 2-4 shots out of 6 on a 2x3 foot sheet of plywood at 400 yards with any of my magnum revolvers. No pics of groups, so I guess I'll just apologize for that.
I used to have a YT video up, but I deleted it |

What type of handgun?
10M Olympic pistol after a week of practice Session 9 - Pardini K12 by Andrew Marjama, on Flickr As for 9mm, I've shot shotgun hulls consistantly at 100 yds with a CZ P01 |
|
Slow fire I can keep a stock Glock in a fist sized group @ 25. Really that’s about as good as I can shoot a handgun in general, it’s just the better the setup the faster I can make the hits.
|
|
I shoot 10 rounds at 10 yards and 9 of them are in a 3" diameter group and one hole is like 12" away.

Not a pro by any means but here's your group pic.
10 shots @ 7 yds with a glock 19 with iron sights. Attached File |

I'd post my 100 yard Contender groups but they look like a very good rifle group and you guys won't believe it.
|
|
Slow fire? Rapid fire? How rapid? Movement? You post this challenge like out of the what 400 something thousand members no one can shoot...
|
|
|
What kind of handgun shooting we talkin here?
TC Contender in 223 with a scope? Ruger KMK512 w/ 2moa dot and a rest and good target ammo? Similar, but with irons? Full size duty type pistol? Little 38 snubby or 380 or 32 pocket pistol? |
|
Can mag dump quite rapidly at 20yrds in a area the size of a pie tin.
Don't really practice any further than that anymore. |

M&P 9mm at 90 yards Ruger GP100 4.2" 90 yard steel RUGER LCR 90 yard steel STI two on steel 1:54 sec |

Good enough to hit a man at 100 yards pretty easily. I've really spent the time to hone my handgun skills over the last few years, shooting .22 handguns helps a lot.

FPNI.
I can keep it on a pieplate (10" paper plate) consistently, from standing or quick draw, or drills within 45 ft. (15 yrds). I'm sure if I practiced more I could do way better, but I'm not a tier 1 operator. I'm just a guy who likes guns Edit: I'm way more better with a 1911 but...ya know. I don't carry/practice quick draw with my 1911s |

I shot silhouettes for a few years, standing revolver. 29 was my highest match score, had 25 going to the rams, choked bad. |
