People seemed to have more common sense and less uncouth behavior/morals.

No smart phones existed, social media was nothing more than a few BB’s, and the internet was generally seen as a novelty.

80s guy here. Down the road we'll be asking "what do yo miss about the 2020s", but I can't honestly imagine missing anything. This is the shittiest of decades.

Vacations were actually vacations. No mobile phones, no email on said mobile phones, and no remote access. See ya in 2 weeks bitches! Even if we stayed late, or came in early, time outside the office was your own.
