If I go to a dedicated donut shop I like raspberry jelly filled. The one on my route has a $10 minimum order, so I never go there.
From the grocery store maybe an apple fritter once every 1-2 months. |

A delicious Boston cream round nutritional bar on Saturday is indeed a good idea OP. I also like the sugary jelly filled round nutritional bars. I think the doc is full of shit when he said they were not a healthy food source filled with nutrients.

Personally I’d buy a dozen long Johns and act like I’m buying them for my family to hide the shame that they’re all for me.

You would not beleive how hard it is to find a sugar coated donut anymore..

I am actually up right now, 4:20 AM getting ready to pack up the 4Runner for a range trip with my best friend...we are also meeting some retired co workers at the range.
My plan is to stop at the donut shop and getting just one and then at the coffee shop for a large decaf with some steamed milk. More than likely will go for an apple fritter or a blueberry cake. |

Lol. I subscribe

I usually get between eight and a dozen assorted donuts and eat eight before I lose my appetite. I can't imagine only getting one or two. There are too many different kinds.

The shape doesn’t matter as much - either round or Long John. Bavarian creme filling with chocolate icing is the way to go.

OP needs help! It's an emergency, somebody please help him, he could die if the wrong donuts are chosen!

View Quote Pretty sure that's OP, or he's like an Olympic athlete and burns a fuck ton of calories |

There was a specialty about 10 years ago called “cronuts,” which I never see any more. Maybe they’re too labor-intensive?
Like a croissant, there are layers of dough, but the layers are sweet & buttery, more than flaky. It’s topped with an ooy-gooy-slightly chewy black/white icing & very awesome. Attached File |
