Whenever I watch one of these 80's retro lookback videos, I get an emptiness feeling in my stomach. I miss those times soooo much.
I truly loved the 80's. |

Funny story - So, a couple years ago, we were moving into a renovated building that was built in 1985. The Architect in charge of the renovation designs, who was also a Gen-Xer, was asked why the floors had 12’ ceilings? Without a pause, she replied; “BIG hair! We had to have the headroom for all the big hairstyles in the ‘80s. I can show you a B52s video if you don’t understand”.

eta: born in 1972. High school 1986-1990 I wish I appreciated it then as much as I do now. |

the 80s were awesome, but not because of a handful of popular movies and tv shows in the OP. they were awesome because it was the last decade of freedom, and a positive economic outlook thanks to Reagan.

I will admit that I'm a fan of the internet in the current form. If we could have modern computers I would gladly live through the '80s and '90s again. MAKE BEAVERS GREAT AGAIN! |
