With my iPhone, that is.
We have a family of gray foxes that hang out on our back patio every night. Last night I set my phone out on my patio, and hid in the shadows just inside of my back kitchen slider. Triggered the camera with a Bluetooth remote. Anyway, was pretty happy with this photo of one of these cool little critters, so though I'd share. Attached File Update. Managed to do pretty much the same thing tonight, but set my phone up to shoot video. These guys love to eat peanuts! Grey Fox Snack Time |

Tripped out looking little dude. I'll bet his teeth be sharp.
Snap at your inquisitive ass. |

Foxes are cool. Have one that comes and sits by me some nights when I use my telescope. He does a little bark to let me know he's there, usually about 15’ away. Cool little dude

Very cool!
I shot a wild dog at pretty close to point blank range the other day. In the head. With a .45 Critical Defense Didn’t work out for the dog. |

I love those things. I used to sit and watch them frolic around at a power plant I used to work at. Man the geese hated them though.

Cool little dude View Quote I have a traditional den on my property made in a rocky hill near the road. Haven't checked in a while because I don't want to disturb them. When they run flat out through the trees zinging back and forth it doesn't take very long for one to be gone. |

I was actually thinking about trading on my rifle for a really good camera. Love being outdoors, hate the killing.
I understand killing for food, and do it, but it is increasingly hard these days. |

Used to have a red fox show up on one game camera a lot. Always trotting by with a squirrel or some other rodent thing in it's mouth. Cool critters.

Great photo!
I have one that comes and visits every so often, but he takes off before I can get a photo of him. I like how he kind of leaps as he starts to move away-very cute. |

VERY COOL!! Thanks for sharing that. We have red foxes around my place, and I often hear them, but in 10 years have never seen one. I have seen coyotes, deer, doe with twins, raccoons, squirrels..and hear owls all the time..
One of the large owls killed my little terrier and took him away for a meal about a year ago..I'm not as fond of owls as I used to be, even though I realize they are just doing what nature tells them to. |

That is an awesome photo!
It does look fake, like its posing or something. I bet you all don't have many mice or rats around there with a den and a pack of those things! |

I love foxes, both gray and red. I am always bummed when one of them stumbles into a coyote trap.

Awesome. Had one around here a couple years back. Almost seem like a cross between canine and feline. They can climb trees quite well.

Fantastic picture! I had a red fox family in my back woods in NH. They were such a playful bunch
