Seems to be a major uptick in Russian air assets flying and getting shot down. We went a few days with only a handful of videos of anything Russian in the air. I think they are getting more desperate flying in contested airspace. Ukraine doesn't seem to have anything flying themselves, but plenty of assets all over the ground.

Putin is now saying a no fly zone would be an act of war. Apparently anything the west does is an act of war. Someone is going to have to call his bluff on some of this BS eventually. I still want to see Belarus lit up. Hasn't mentioned that yet, so I say it is fair game. His invasion was an act of war.

The most ideal situation is to have an AWACS providing data on air contacts and getting that info the big S-300 systems so they don't have to emit. They certainly seem to be busy today. Russia can't sustain air losses like this for another week, despite the number of planes near the border. |
