7.7 Arisaka was a pain in the ass to find and expensive even before the current craziness. You may have better luck finding it at local shows than online (at least, I used to). Oddly, Prvi makes brass for it but has never sold loaded ammo.
If you're going to shoot a decent amount of old surplus calibers like this it's worth considering reloading. |

Never thought I'd see the day .303 was "obscure".
20 years ago every shop had at least one or two boxes on the shelf for the guys hunting with their Enfields. |

For .303 British:
Like someone said, ammoseek. Keep an eye on sgammo, in normal times he has a lot of Prvi (good ammo). Gunbroker always has assorted .303 for sale from rare & obscure types to modern sporting ammo. |

You can form the.303 British from .30-40 Krag but I suspect that this will only add layers to your problem.

Norma makes some kick ass 7.7.
I also like the Privi brass for it. Currently sitting on about 700 rounds of 7.7 Bought 500 Privi cases from Graf's. |

Try finding the original 8mm Mauser round. It's .318 not .323 so I cast my own.

Try finding 9mm Glisenti. I just received my 9mm Largo order from Steinl. Fortunately stocked up on 9mm Ultra before Covid. |

Do you reload OP? I can send you 50 or so once fired HXP 303 brass. No charge.
The round works with all the major powders in that power class, and it takes the relatively available .311 bullet. Same as the 7.62x39, among others. |

Before I moved out of MO a few weeks ago
 Prvi Partizan .303 was showing up at the LGS's. I haven't seen it since I've moved but it seems that some has recently been imported and should be floating around.I'd have paid more attention if I wasn't so well stocked on Surplus .303. |

Back in the day, Norma was the only 6.5 Jap I could find. Wicked expensive, and I don't see it anymore. Hording what little bit I have left.
That's fine, not like I grind out long range sessions with it, but its kind of sad that a lot of good C&R rifles out there are going to sit idle, since ammo is so hard to find. |

Before the craziness I bought a 400 round can of .303 off SGAmmo. I still need to get gun that can shoot it.
I think the most obscure caliber I shoot is 11mm Mauser but I only have 40 pieces of brass and I need to repair my 71/84 Mauser rear sight before shooting it again. |
