The Desert Eagle is a totally useless, over size, heavy pistol that I'd LOVE to own someday. One in .357Mag. would be just fine. Like I said, no practical reason for getting it except for being fun to have.

Do you guys know what machine is pictured with the Desert Eagle?
I do, and if you knew what it was you'd laugh at it's presence in such an ad.

Here's a game: Can anyone guess what it is?

Dr. Rick Moranis' shrinking machine from "Honey, I Shrunk the Kids"
(Can't remember the character's name)

Perhaps there will soon be a Desert Eagle pocket pistol chambered in .500 S&W?

Edit:  Dr. Wayne Szalinski
(Yes, I do bear some resemblance, sans pocket protector)

LarryG, you're on the right track.

Yes and no, it generates x-rays, but not in the diagnostic sense like a CT-Scan or typical X-ray machine.
It's a LINAC, Linear Accelerator, a machine used to deliver therapeutic radiation therapy.

What the heck does it have to do with the Desert Eagle? Can someone answer that?
