Refurb Russian TT33 now going for $1,000 or more. Even Polish Toks are fetching $600 on GunBroker. I see RGuns has Chinese imports without an added safety for $350.

Don’t forget - if you’re not already stocked on 7.62 x 25 - you’re in for a long wait & high price.

If it was a legit bring back, with papers, $500-1000 depending on the provenance. Without any of that, $250-500 depending on condition and accessories.
It’s nice that people right this second might be asking that on GB, but I see them for a lot less than that -and at least once a year(or more) I see them at estate sales or pawn shops at very reasonable prices(giveaway prices). |

Toe fiddy.
Kinda wish I had bought one when they were cheap. Oh well. |
|
Max would be about $275. I have a Romanian Tok, great pistol but not worth more than $300, paid $229. Current market has gotten stupid when it comes to pricing.

It is amazing how much some guns have gone up in price. I recall when the CZ-52's would barely sell at $150 a piece and ammo for them (7.62x25) was around $10 for 50 rounds of corrosive ammo..but it was hot ammo.
Some gun show vendors had wooden cases of the CZ-52's and people were generally disinterested in them because of the cartridge. I figured for $250 I could buy a pistol and a bucket full of ammo..which was what I did. I played around with it, then swapped it off for something else that interested me. |

$100-$150 depending on condition. That's all they're worth to me, if someone is willing to pay $1k good luck with that.

Don't understand the fascination with cheap trash guns. They were garbage when they were made and they are still garbage.
I bet some you will go and buy a Jennings or a Davis and proclaim how they are such a wonderful gun and everybody should be jealous you bought ANOTHER piece of shit. |
|
I'd buy a Soviet one for maybe 300-350?
I passed on one a few years ago that came with a few mags, holster, and hundreds of rounds for 220 bucks. When I went back the next time it was gone. I still kick myself over that one. |

Meh, not much.
I sold my Tok and CZ when dirt cheap surplus 762x25 dried up 10ish years ago. |
|
I paid $200 for a 57 just to have one. Refused to pay $400 for a Chinese black star. (IIRC)

They are based on the 1911 and reliable as all get out. Please cite why they were " trash" when they came out pre ww2. |

Not even remotely close. But maybe you have never owned one or shot one. |

Personally? Like $150, and only if it came with a decent amount of ammo at that price. And only if it was Russian, not one of these Yugo things.

I've never understood the design. Did Russia hatch a mutant army with small hands ? But, war guns are war guns for a reason.

Quoted: I've never understood the design. Did Russia hatch a mutant army with small hands ? But, war guns are war guns for a reason. View Quote Blame John Browning. The tokarev is pretty much the externals of the Browning 1903, recoil system of the 1911, with a simplified fcg. They are popular because they are reliable, surprisingly accurate, and the 7.62x25 round is interesting and flat shooting. They just take some getting used to |

They are fun to shoot. I've always wondered if the Russians were expecting hordes of dinosaurs. Great dinosaur gun.

View Quote the 3 10 star '52 pink wrappered ammo issue is not an issue apparently. the Geocities website though did a great job scaring people about it. it was not proof ammo nor grenade pistol ammo. I bought at least three tins of it from Century Herb and my toks and pps ate it fine. |

That round is a mother fucker.
If you can get that ammo, IDGAF what the host is if it runs. Ugly? Absolutely. Deadly?a lot more deadly than all the jennings ever made. |

The Hong Kong police ( long ago ) favored them because the bullet fragmented bone and it caused a shrapnel effect.

Wouldn't want one so it would have to be cheap enough to make it worth buying and then selling it.

Untouched original war era Russian? I can see spending over a grand.
But ill just go with new production Serbian stuff instead |

It’s the most reasonably priced in the best condition Tokarev I have seen recently As stated by other posters ammunition is going to be the problem. I’m sure you can find it at gun shows but I’m not sure what the price is there |

A friend of a friend has a Type 54 pistol which he brought back from Vietnam, and it has a handprint burned into the grip frame. The previous owner was running towards the new owner’s foxhole with the pistol in his hand when the napalm canister landed on him, goes the story.

After watching one choke hard At A pistol class id do a max of $100. At most.

I've a '36 Tula.....Ugly but it shoots just fine.
Attached File A '37 in a bit better condition sold for $2400.00.....Then again a '40 sold for $1400.00.....A '43 for $900.00. Pre-war seems to bring more but if I had to guess it just depends on who is fighting for them on any given auction. The Canucks can get refurbed Soviet-era examples for $365.00 Canadian. |
