I have an upcoming weekend that I will be spending with my better half.  We are going on a trip out of town so I got a nice room at the Doubletree in Nashville and am making preparations for a nice romantic weekend.  The only thing missing is a nice soundtrack packed with music to groove by and any Champagne recommendations y'all may have.  So what music would you recommend for a candlelit evening?

Hm..soundtracks from The Prince of Tides?

On second thought, forget music.  Just enjoy the quiet country side and your company.

Chicago., Jackson Browne, Paul Simon, James Taylor, and so on. If you're gonna make CD's, maybe you should ask for individual song recommendations.

A local radio station had women calling in with the CD most likely to get them ready for the main event...the winner by far was a CD by Norah Jones...Come Away With Me.

I have tried it and it works really great.

Click on the URL below, then click on the word "recording"...then click on the Come Away With Me CD.  Check out the song, Turn Me On.

The local radio station called this CD, "musical panty remover".

Enigma, their first CD. Have better than 400, and I can't find the silly thing to give you the name of it, and Mrs.J can't remember.

I appreciate it guys.  We will be taking a nice evening cruise on the Gen. Jackson riverboat and then kick on the evening's festivities.  I will try to download some of these songs to my laptop since I can't burn CD's and just leave it running in the background.  My musical tastes are ecclectic so I am not limiting myself to any genre.  At least I have a nice playlist to start with.

There are specific Beethoven pieces that would do the trick, but it's just simpler to get the Immortal Beloved CD. She won't be dissapointed. (Of course, I'm not totally infallible, so back it up with Guns 'n Roses)
