I thought the President could only pardon federal charges - perhaps that's not true?

Did he commit a federal "crime?". Also hasn't been found guilty of anything I don't think, which probably matters.

It's difficult to pardon someone who has yet to be convicted of a crime in a court of law.

PLEASE GO LEARN.
The president cannot pardon a state crime. Trump could have pardoned federal crimes by Kyle. How do people not know this? |

Quoted: Quoted: Quoted: It's difficult to pardon someone who has yet to be convicted of a crime in a court of law. That isn't true. Look at the Nixon pardon. This is why I created the thread. Rough crowd this morning, don't sweat it. Aside from the state vs federal, getting a pardon also has to be done after conviction I believe. You can't pardon someone for a crime they haven't been convicted of. |

He’ll probably get federal charges now. Interstate travel in the commission of a crime. Just wait.
