This one just hit me the other night when perusing IMDB.
Eddie Izzard, AKA Roman Nagel from the Oceans movies..  WTF? That was a cool character. Before. The composer Walter Carlos -> Wendy Carlos was always the strangest to me, because it was maybe my first revelation that someone in a professional position not based on gender would go through with something like that. It was the late 1970s, I found out in the early 1980s, and I was young and just didn't understand. Transsexuality was something typically joked about back then, usually when talking about Thailand or Tijuana.
He/she was the composer for the soundtrack to A Clockwork Orange, The Shining, and the original Tron, among other well written scores. I have a couple of her records. |

someone on this forum (probably banned now) predicted this during the "Gays in the military", "Gay Marriage", and "Gay adoptions" threads in the early 2000's threads.
