I sold several cases of 223 for $600. I only regret not saving it for now to get $1000.

Is the seller a 100% disabled vet and a former law enforcement trainer?

That is part of the problem, people buying stuff they don't need to flip.

I regret selling 550 bulk packs for $45 each should have waited.

At this point what difference does it make?
Are you gonna hop on your local board or the EE and sell for pre-panic prices? If you do, it's going to get snatched up by someone just like this and resold at today's prices. Welcome to the shitty hybrid socialist-capitalist market. |

Jv capitalists stick their dick in it and tell everyone it's for their own good. I would totally fuck with that guy. IF THEY ARE SO SAVVY WHY ARE THEY PUNCHING SOMEONE ELSE'S CLOCK? You know who else sells stuff for more than they pay for it, have connections to get things not readily available to the public at those prices, generally buy a large amount and parcel it out?????

I can’t help but laugh at guys that make all this effort to buy ammo and flip it for tiny amounts of profit.
All the time spent driving to stores and meeting people to buy ammo. Only to make like $50-75 before factoring in gas and your own time. Not even close to worth it. I suppose if I wasn’t a dickhead I’d feel bad for him in some way. |

Driving around town like that must take a toll on his rewarding day job.

$100 for a 50rd box of 9mm sounds crazy today
But it might not sound so crazy next year, when $100 is worth $0 and 50rds of 9mm is still worth 50rds of 9mm |

A week ago a friend offered me $200 for a pistol I didn't want to sell. He seemed upset that I didn't want to sell it. (4 inch Taurus 94 .22 in stainless) I sent him a link to the same pistol on Gunbroker for a "Buy it now" price of $500. It was the only one on the site. He bought a less expensive pistol (Heritage .22) at a local shop for less. He just wanted to get a .22 "for snakes and such."
I have Ammo and I have Primers. It has taken quite a bit of "wheeling and dealing" for me to get where I feel comfortable with my stores. I will not sell my stores. If I find more "deals" on ammo, etc., I will help out my friends, but I will never again allow myself to get in a position where I don't have what I need. I buy dies for every caliber I own. Then I buy powder, primers, cases, and projectiles. Every time I see ammo or components at a reasonable price I purchase them. I keep a list of the things I need in my shirt pocket. Sometimes you have to pay to play. It's a sellers market now. Too bad, I was loving the salad days! |

I would feel zero guilt selling .223 at its current market rate of $1/round or more. I just happened to buy it for less than a third of that over the last several years.

The guy is a knob. But I don’t understand why anyone who needs it so bad they are paying these prices didn’t stock up when it was cheap. I think people want it just because it is scarce and will now pay anything and bitch about the cost, they are dopes too.
