Cool I guess? Whatever floats your boat.
The amount of frame rail showing looks like a shit backyard body lift job. |
|
Did they migrate the airbags over too? Or do you get to brain yourself on the metal dash for nostalgia's sake?

Quoted: IFS and skid plate just look so wrong under that body. View Quote Agreed. Factory high boy > that thing |

I'd rather see solid front axle on a new F150, but float your boat however you please.

Really doesn't look very good. The Raptor swaps to the OBS Bronco's turn out a lot better imo.

First off, anything Ford, specifically F-150, equates to MasterRace. However, I’m not a fan of the color. I’ll take it in fire engine red, please.

Color is horrible!
What did they do to the frame, their is no short bed std cab Raptors Hard pass. |
|
Gross.
Looks like hillbilly backyard body graft with all that frame showing. |

One of the classic car boards I used to frequent had a guy doing a similar swap but putting the guts of a 2wd ecoboost F150 under a similar age classic ford pickup.
His turned out very, very nice. Even swapped the floorpan between trucks so the seats/shifter etc all wound up where they belonged. His was more of a lowered sport truck and did not have the frame hanging out under it. I wonder if this would have looked better had they used offroad fibrerglass fenders/bedsides instead of the gigantic body lift. |

I would love to put together something like the Hoonitruck but in real street trim if I had a pile of money. |

I think this one is a F250 Tremor setup. https://www.ar15.com/media/mediaFiles/274809/136753789_102939231778858_55035830178050-1785408.JPG View Quote Guess I need a link for that too. That's a lot of work just from what I see on the body. |

Likely a 4 door raptor setup grafted with a 4 door truck body with bronco rear, a-la centurion style. |

I had a 77 F-150. I don't know that I'd want the interior downgrade for the amount of money spent on that project. Still, it sort of looks cool in a way.
