All my SO’s Coworkers are spooked and they’re stocking up food and some are concerned about a loss of electricity. No rationale but they are just doing it.
Went to the in-laws last night and they were a buzz with their family about being spooked about something in the near future. Mind you their extended family live in various states. And they are all feeling it. A coworker of mine says that her mom is having dreams about her husband who died a couple of years ago and in the dreams he keeps saying stock up on food and water. Admittedly I’m getting spooked because everybody around me who relatively normal are getting spooked. Anyone getting a similar vibe? Admittedly I am not but it seems like everybody else is. |

I just ordered another case of Claw from Total Wine just in case.
I mean. If DC catches fire, I'm gonna be one of the first ARFCOMMERS to go. But No. I'm not losing any sleep. |

They're stockpiling food? Fuck I'm getting fat from chowing down since I have to move...gotta lighten the load.
No, although it can't hurt to get more TP. Sounds like too much internet.

Not expecting or dreading anything. I have known to have been wrong before.
I ignore the dreams about dying and continue on, not much sense in freaking out over what ifs.

You mean the National Guard soldiers about to be killed by negligent discharges?
Yeah. That is definitely Trump's fault. |

I got a call from my father last night who asked me if I was loading magazines. I told him, "What do you mean? Your magazines aren't loaded already? Mine have been loaded since March."
A lot of my family, some of my friends, and some coworkers are on edge that "something" is going happen. Being in TN, I realize that I have ZERO control of what happens beyond providing safety for my family. Outside of that, I am just reacting to whatever happens or doesn't happen. I've game-planned some scenarios in my head, but I am not worrying at this point. Just like being in school and having final exams coming up, if you don't know it by now then you aren't going learn it all in a few hours. Same now; I am not going lose sleep. What I am going do is increase my situational awareness, limit where I travel to and places I visit, and just keep my head down. |
Not really. I’m too busy working and living my life. I can’t control this mysterious nonexistent thing you’re talking about, so why would I concern myself with it?
At some point you have to realize events are out of your control and just go with the flow.

Funny how the average American watched "Doomsday Preppers" and laughed at the "crazy people."
Then 2020 happened. |

Still stocked up from Y2K!
Did scout a creek today that a buddy said was backing up. Will get some 330s in there next week or two, for Beaverfest 2021! Attached File Beaver loin cloth, beaver BBQ, we're be fine. |

Nah. The only thing that’s going to happen on the 20th is Biden will be sworn in. This is all theatre.

Remember this
We don't need those 550 people in DC to keep us alive and fed. They need us. p.s. Soilant Green is people. |
Wifes sister and some other family members are freaked out and nervous. Wish I knew what they know because we are fine.
What's coming is only a surprise for those not paying attention for at least the last year. Remember kids.... "It's better to be a warrior in the garden than a gardener in a war" (something like that) |
Spooked? No.....
...wish I had bought more ammo during the salad days? Maybe... |
I have prepped as well as I can, everything else is in gods hands now.
Not really sure what’s going to happen so hopefully my preparation will cover it. Anything is possible including nothing happening.

Yes. As much as Conservatives are on the hit list, outspoken Conservative born again Christians should be even more "apprehensive".

mass hysteria, probably. We've seen this before not too long ago. The real question is what pointless thing will people stock-pile this time?

View Quote It's called "Prepping" and.. geeze.... Americans have been doing this shit off and on since the days of hiding under our school desks for nuclear attack drills in the 50s. To an outsider I guess it looks like we are "Spooked" about something, and I guess you are sort of right. |

Not until the new regime is in place, then i am worried AF about my toys.

With all the hype from the left, it's probably going to be a ghost town. Unless a bunch of Dominion machines feel like showing up to congratulate their choice?

Got more yeast for my Ooni. Buy cheap, stack it deep, and all that.

Nope. If the shit hit's the fan, it hits the fan, but I'm not living in fear. Let come what may.
Not particularly, in the time frame you've specified.
Mid/long term, yeah. As are several immigrant friends who came here to escape what they see happening here over the last few years. |
