First: The threat to Democracy is the left. They're the ones trying to tear down this great nation and everything for which it stands. Let's just get that out of the way.
Second: It chaps my hide when they call him "Trump". He IS the President of the United States. And he should be addressed as such. It is "President Trump" or "Mr. President" (usually said when speaking to him directly). Even if the unthinkable happens, he will still be, forever and always, "Mr. President" or "President Trump". The disdain the left has for our President is absolutely loathsome. They hate him so much, they refuse to show him any respect that he earned. I have always referred to the President, ANY President, as "President...". I don't care if they're Republican or Democrat. As President, they've earned at least that much respect, from me. And I'd like to slap the shit out of anyone who calls him otherwise. |
