You can special order Smokewagon from your local VA ABC store a little cheaper than having it shipped direct....
I wanted to try something new, so I ordered Smokewagon Uncut Unfiltered... It came in today... this stuff is legit. It's the first time I have paid over $50 for a fifth of bourbon and felt like it was that much better than a $35 bottle |

Is there any way to "display" for lack of a better term my empty bourbon bottles that isn't super tacky or making it look like I live in a frat house? I have amassed probably 50 different bottles, saving 1 of each new bourbon I try. I mostly started saving them to keep track of what I have and have not tried and I found the variety of shape/size/design to be interesting. Right now they are all just chilling on a shelf in the basement pantry.
Also the Old Forester 1920 prohibition style is very very strong in flavor. Did not find it to be a good sipper even after diluted by ice but it makes a very tasty old fashioned. |

Have any of y’all heard of Neeley Family Distillery? I called them up and they shipped me 3 bottles this week. One is a 25% rye, one is a wheater, and one is a 4 grain with wheat and oat in the mash bill.
Those 3 bottles’ neck pours are all in the top 10 bourbons I’ve had, and I’m thinking two of them are in the top 5. This is the same distillery that had Jackie Zykan, formerly of Old Forester, join them to start another label called Hidden Barn Distillery. |

Yesterday I was able to snag Henry McKenna 10 yr single barrel BiB which I have never seen in my area. Also grabbe a bottle of Larceny Barrel strength which I've only seen one other time.
