AOC has opened up to the news media about how traumatizing the Jan 6th siege was for here. Not knowing whether she was going to die, be kidnapped, or hurt. Claims it is not an exaggeration to say that many members of the legislature "narrowly escaped death". Also claims that the insurgents were a mix of QAnon and white supremacists, and that some of the members of the legislature are white supremacists that she thinks would aid the insurgents by providing them with information on her location.

Stupid, possibly not stupid question.
The House is currently voting on H Res 41. A timer was set for 15 minutes and has expired. Why the hell are they still counting votes? Why was also this done on the 6th? (Pretty much the same thing on election night happened if you ask me.) How are the late votes even considered valid? I realize they probably could give a shit what the people think, or sit and watch for that matter... an agenda is an agenda. And calling them out on it will make no difference, but shouldn't this be illegal? |

Now the caveat to this is that the more expensive brands have tighter tolerances during manufacture (usually resulting in lower SD) even though they may be coming off the same line as other brands. So you can usually narrow down testing in short order to one or two brands. For my 22 bartlein barrel, I tried 10 different name brand varieties and it liked various types of Lapua Ammo particularly the CenterX (no $urpri$e there, $hit i$ expen$ive), but it also liked wolf gold match (like half the price). Was the CenterX better (lower SD, tighter group@ 50y)? Yes. Slightly. But not enough difference to win or loose a match (unless it's a group-shootin' match) when you consider it's cost. So I was lucky that I could still get that lot # and ordered a shit ton of it. Another thing you can consider is sending your rifle off to Lapua. For a fee, they will test your rifle with every lot they have until they find the one that shoots balls out tack driver in your barrel. I haven't done it but know guys that do on the regular. ETA: oh - also - for whatever reason -- 22 bolt guns are REALLY sensitive to action screw torque values. You may find - and again this is usually ok due to the lighter recoil -- that a torque setting as low as 40inchpounds produces tighter groups than typical 65inchpounds. You gotta run tests. |
