I am going to turn on some football on the telly (sound down), put on some good blues, drink a few cold ones (10 or 12) and surf AR15.com on my new computer. Might even clean a gun or two.
One thing I won't do is be on the roads tonight.  HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL!!!!!!! |

Staying home, cranking up the stereo, knock some billiards around, chew fat and tobacco with friends & family, shake martinis, dream of Gwen Stefani, surf ARFCOM, walk the neighborhood with AN/PVS-7D goggles on @ midnight. Engines to remain cold tonight too, anyone in the area, swing by. I'll have a brew ready for you too.

Same plans as every New Year's Eve for many years -- will strap on my red Fender Stratocaster and play my fingers off while the standing-room-only croud gets drunk and lets their hair down. I am actually thinking of quitting the band for a while so I can actually sit home on New Years Eve, or July 4th, or Memorial Day weekend, or Labor Day weekend, or...

Hunkered down at thouse with the kids. Wife works until 11:30 but is only five minutes from here home so its not too bad. Going to watch a couple movies, eat pizza and fire off a few in air indian reservation type signal devices at midnight. Mostly just spending the last few hours of this year with my family.

which is why I'm letting everyone sleep it off at my place.
one thing I'll say about my group of friends, even when we were underage we always made sure to have a designated driver or we drank at someones house where we could sleep.
