Tampa Bay needs a Super Bowl win this year. But New England will probably pull it off again.

My Steelers will go 7-9 and miss the playoffs!

They are being slow in free agency right now.

Not too happy about the Alexander signing but what do I know.

Also Im glad Frank Gore got another year contract with the Bills, he should pass Barry Sanders this year for third most all-time rushing yards

I'm meh on the Alexander signing. Could be good but the price was high.

They need to pick up Thomas.

Now that the Cards picked up Suggs, I'm pretty sure they are going for Kyler which means the 9ers are getting Bosa.

I hope Isiah Wynn is fully recovered and the Patriots draft another tackle just in case. Also, now that Flowers and Brown are gone they had better resign Gostkowski.

I'm not surprised. There's a reason so many Cowboys, Eagles, and Redskins fans were happy to see the Giants give that headcase a 5 year/$95M deal with $65M guaranteed.

Personally I think those high-end diva WRs are rarely worth dealing with the drama and cost once they've been in the league for a while and you have to damn near pay them like a below-average starting QB. Especially if they have injury issues.

I'm ready for more of the most fun offense I've ever seen in my life.

Hopefully, there will be something resembling a defense this year.

The problem with the Diva WRs is that they do get a raw deal. They are basically paid big bucks to draw defenders away from the rookies, but the owners still try to derive their worth based on catches and TDs.

You really think that JJSS has a career year without Brown pulling away the #1 corner every week?

For all the talk about Julian Edelman (and it's deserved), I really miss this guy:

If you ask me, he was a master of his craft. In the biggest games, he delivered his best performances. He'll always be a Patriot in my eyes.

I'll be happy with the Browns making the playoffs any way they can.

It also helps that, outside of the Browns, the other teams in the AFC North are going to be trending downward for a while.

Michael Bennett will soon be a New England Patriot. … “I’m excited about it,” Bennett said Monday during an appearance at Princeton University’s Richardson Auditorium. …

“From a football perspective there’s a respect for Belichick,” Bennett said. “I consider him the Yoda of football when it comes to the ins and outs of what’s happening around how to prepare for a game. …

“The Patriots are a team that people love to hate because they always win,” he said. “The opportunity to learn from that and be in that environment is good.”

Bennett said the trade to New England initially surprised him. … In meetings with Patriots executives, Bennett said he would continue to remain in the locker room during the playing of the anthem.

“I explained to them is that my integrity mean everything,” Bennett said. “I think they respect that about me, they respect who I am as an individual.”

He added: “The Patriots have been trying to trade for me for two years. Last year they tried to get me, the year before they tried to get me.”

Now they have him.

Bennett would neither deny nor confirm that his younger brother, Martellus, would also join the Patriots.  …

He said he was looking forward to engaging Belichick and Brady about their support of a president who is largely viewed to be hostile to the interests of people of color.

“I think it’s important not to to run away from those conversations, or not hear their ideas about why they think the way they do,” he said.

Is it just me, or have the Bills been surprisingly active in FA?

I fucking hate Michael Bennett. I was disappointed by that trade. He is a plague on locker rooms. He is a selfish player. Always got penalties at the most important times when playing with Seattle. As a human, he is a piece of shit.

I was less than pleased when that trade was announced.

That was baffling. Not Robert Kraft getting busted at a strip mall rub and tug when he’s worth $6.6B level baffling, but it’s still up there.

Garoppolo is young, famous, looks like a male model, just signed a $100M contract, and could have pretty much any woman he wants and he’s dating a 40+ year old worn out porn star?

Dude has natural ability and skills...but yeah, I wasn't very excited about him joining this organization, for all the reasons you brought up. Anyone remember his boneheaded play at the end of the Super Bowl against New England? Seattle probably still would have lost had he not jumped offsides...but you never know.
