Geez, some of you guys need to look for new dentists. I had a root canal in September, just a week before I was to go overseas for several weeks. I was in the Endodontist's office for a total of 45 minutes, most of which was filling out the stoooopid forms, looking at current magazines, and waiting for the prescription to be written. I was in the chair for less than 10 minutes, and probably more like 7-8, most of which was waiting for the local to take effect. The actual procedure took only a couple of minutes. Seriously. I was shocked at how quickly the guy worked. No chit-chat, no bullshit with this guy. I went back about 4 days later for him to remove the packing and put the filling in, and it was the same deal. The damage was about $475, I think.
