I am looking for 8 rnd. mags but they have to be the most reliable!

These are for duty use and I am new to SIG...

How are the NOVAK mags?

dont know about NOVAK mags. MEC GAR makes the sig factory ones. I use MEC GAR 7 rounders in my 220 and like them a lot. I do not know if they make 8 round ones. John

Personally, I’d pay the extra money and get Sig OEM 8 round magazines (which are probably made by Mec-Gar).

I have no experience with, and haven’t heard anything one way or the other regarding, the Sig 8 rounders.  I do have a lot of faith in Sig to only market excellent products.

However, I’ve heard of 8 round 1911 magazines having occasional feeding problems with the last round.
