I would change the name of the site.
Then, we wouldn't have to worry about Colt's getting pissed off when we let it all hang out, and bringing disrepute to their "good" name, and trademark. |

I would allow SOFT porn. In fact I hate the word porn. To me it's art. HARD porn (we all should know that is) and anything illegal would be strictly forbidden. If there is a pic of some beautiful babe and her breasts are in view, big deal! That, too me is not porn. As far as language goes, almost anything is okay here. Okay, it's for the children. They go to the library or their rooms and view HARD porn on their computers. I just don't think a half nekkid woman is porn. National Geograhic didn't think so 45 years ago either.

If I was king of this site I would replace General Discussion with General Firearms Discussion, I would also require everyone to register with valid name/data no CB handles. That would turn it into a good technical resourse and throw out the trash.

1.Add some quote/img/url buttons to the 'reply' and 'new thread' menu
2. Make site restricted to registered users only 3. Shorten the post timer for team members to 10 seconds 4. Only team members can post polls! 5. Everyone can search all forums 6. Delete all users who have been inactive for over 1 year 7. Ease up some of the amish botd rules  8. Make a seperate 'industry/dealers' section in the EE |

My point being that if the site dumped the General Discussion forum all that bandwidth and all those people who are not adding any firearm related topics would be freed up for use by gun related people.

I would do away with the paid membership option altogether, dump all the useless forums to free up resources, allow BOTD topics, ban all religious debate, ban all homo debate, ban all abortion debate. Ban anyone who brings up these subjects.
I would also advocate and try to organize a national MARPAT day where non-Marines parade around the public in MARPAT uniforms, less Marine uniform devices of course, and post the pics here. Then I would have an archive of HEAT movie facts and anytime someone asks about this movie they would automatically be redirected to that archive and would not be able to return for several days. I would ask that all members post pics of their wives or GF's naked. Hey I am the King right?! I would start a real fun idea. Seriously I would give a free AR15.com T-shirt to those posing in a picture with or by famous places or landmarks with an AR variant like Gold's gym used to do! Imagine holding your rifle infront of say Mt. Rushmore or Old Faithful! |
