While I don't necessarily disagree with you in general, that guy and his ilk really are technicians. The car control (in a very uncontrollable attitude) is remarkable.

Takes big clanky nuts to do that hillclimb at speed, much less hooning the fuck out of a car like that.

That was impressive, I would like to see what the Hoonicorn would turn for a time w/o the drifting, that car is pretty damn impressive.

AHHhhhh...the sounds of a sequential gearbox. If you have never experienced the violence of shifting that a sequential brings to bear, and the resulting insane sounds that is caused by it, you could be confused. There is litterally no "shifting" to a new gear, you are jamming the next gear into play with no release in power production. This means the engine is forced to go from 7800rpm (in his case) down to whatever the next gear is under the most violent conditions imaginable.

It is really music to my ears.

While I don't know as I have never interacted with the guy it wouldn't surprise me. The same thing is sad about Hamilton, or maybe that's just cockiness. Never the less, two great drivers.

He lives around me, and the way he treats fans is crazy. His instagram is a huge look at me fest and then when people come up to him in a respectful way he is one of the biggest assholes I have ever seen. I witnessed him eviscerate a young guy that serves his wife daily at whole foods. The guy said that Ken was his idol and was very respectful. As others have said one has to wonder what he could do with that car if he was just running it for the best time?

His videos are becoming less and less entertaining. Kind of the "fake it 'til make it" mentality. I'm guessing next, we will see him doing donuts around trash cans out at Bonneville during Speed Week?

Also, I agree that his fame has gone to his head. Back when he was a nobody in the auto racing world, he treated people much better.
