Comments on both Yahoo and ESPN are overwhelmingly negative. I watched one game last year (the Super Bowl) and have yet to watch anything this year other than what's on while I'm out. Just as I've quit (very happily, I might add), so have many others. It's hard to imagine such a successful business shooting itself in the foot repeatedly. |

You're a racist!
Haven't watched pro ball in years. Doesn't sound like I have missed anything, nor will I. |

No one sent that memo to the 'tards playing it, the NFL nor the owners. Too bad none of them realize they are stepping on their own lollipop. Oh well. |
That time would be the off season.
This is why NOT to watch football anymore. |
Rush Limbaugh is absolutely correct in his assessment that the NFL will be a shadow of its former self in just a few years. It is already dying a slow and painful death. Sure they still have many fans, but they're doing everything they can to destroy the brand.

DO these fuckers forget they are just overpaid performers?
I dont get to be a social justice warrior (not that i want to be) ON THE JOB! |
The globalist want American football dead so they can usher in the great global socialist sport of soccer...they will rename American football... El Fútbol
I wonder what enterprise these overpaid performers will turn to when they have no job?
Do it NFL. Have an activism month and have all the players wear BLM stickers on their helmets.
Whats better to do on your worst viewing start ever than to keep up with what people dont want to see...
Pink is already taken, so what will be the new highlight color of choice for said month?
I'm all for it. Watching that league fall apart and slip into financial ruin will be better than any memories watching its games has provided.

Well, this certainly makes it easier for me to skip the rest of the Titans 8-8 season.....
To be fair, the Titans often host mil families from Ft. Campbell. Nor do any Titan players kneel during the anthem. |

They really are..........stupid jocks. Meat heads. They are free to go protest in the streets and get hammered with pepperballs just like everyone else. But they don't get to use the NFL (their employer) as a platform.
Oh, no.
Play your silly little game and collect your above average salary and shut the fuck up. You want to be an activist? Fine, quit playing your game and go join some hate group and protest. They'll enjoy your money. |
by the way, I love this stuff
burn, baby, burn burn that NFL to the ground the SJWs are spreading like a virus, burning and destroying as they go |
I stopped watching when this shit all started.
They are doing a great job at destroying themselves. |
It's hilarious that society, on a grand scale, refuses to understand that professional athletes are just circus animals.
Shut up and get a concussion for my entertainment while I sit on my couch and drink. |

View Quote SJW politics have been astoundingly successful on a social level nobody can come right out and oppose it without losing his job but politically it's a disaster if these fucking thugs want to take a knee during the anthem, who is going to stop them? victimhood puts people above criticism, so nobody can say anything the owners are under severe criticism from both right and left, from the right for allowing these thugs to act this way, from the left for not hiring colin and ratings are off by 8% this year outstanding |
Just like with the nba, the stands are still full of mostly white people, when that stops maybe something will change.
There's nothing stopping them. They can ask the other players and owners and fans to join in. Who knows, maybe they have a plan for Chicago.?
Good luck to them. A week or a month of celebrations might work.... |
I say let them go full retard. Those players have way more privilege that most of the country and the owners need to get control of their damn teams if they want to stay in business.
All fans should let ESPN and nfl know. I'm going to their websites now.
The story will get a lot of attention, but keep in mind, it's FOUR players.
"It was endorsed by four players: Seattle Seahawks defensive end Michael Bennett, Philadelphia Eagles safety Malcolm Jenkins, former Buffalo Bills wideout Anquan Boldin and Eagles wideout Torrey Smith." |

What a surprise. A game played by and watched by the lower end of the bell curve intelligence wise gets even dumber.
A bunch of ghetto trash complaining about shit that doesn't occur trying their best to become poor sooner than they will normally, we all know they are all bankrupt and destitute within a year of retiring. Fuck the NFL and fuck anyone who supports the NFL with their dollars. |
They can have a month. Hell they can have two. They don't seem too busy in April and May. Plenty of time to make a difference and not just wear some special edition shoes.
I haven't watched the NFL for probably 30 years. No particular reason other than not wanting to be trapped inside the house when I could be doing something fun outside or in the garage.
For sure these assholes will prevent me from going back to watching in my dotage. With this SJW bullshit extending down into pewee football I see no return to reason in the foreseeable future. |
Sure. Just as long as that months pay is donated in total.
Edit: haven't watched those overpaid clowns in no telling how long. |
"No watch November"....I will do my part. I love football but have primarily switched to college. Goodell has ruined the league by allowing the inmates to run the asylum. Politics and sports don't mix. I will probably catch parts of Sunday night football here and there but the only game I will watch in full this year is the Super Bowl.

I realized years ago that being invested in professional sports is a waste, because I have no control over the outcome. I still enjoy baseball, but I don't watch many games because I don't have time. I don't really see them going this route, as this is a very important and obvious difference between the NFL and MLB.
Having Sundays free lets me spend time with my family, work around the house, and generally enjoy life instead of sitting on the couch getting worked up and eating shit food. It's a win/win/win. |
Dance for me jesters, dance. They seriously overestimate their importance in the world.
Lol at the NFL. |

Yep, I used to watch for an escape, now it's politics and racism sjw. So I stopped watching. That and all the commercials. I find other things as entertainment. View Quote |

Perhaps they should just take the whole season off unpaid so they can dedicate themselves to "the cause"...
Been boycotting football for well over 30 years now.
Of course my hometown team is the Detroit lions and they're the poster children of long term failure. |
