Couldn't even take the leash and collar off? Rot in jail shit bag

I had to read the story to see whether the animal dumper went to jail, or if it was the person who put up the camera
I'd gladly turn him loose in the middle of fucking no where, sans shoes and provisions.

So is there a story to go with the video? View Quote A Texas man who was seen on video abandoning a 1-year-old dog on the side of the road is facing animal cruelty charges. Cameras installed by the Dallas Marshal's Office caught Gorge Spears leaving a dog by the side of the road in southern Dallas on Monday. Spears turned himself in to police after a warrant was issued for his arrests in Dallas County. "It broke our hearts to see what happened to sweet little Claira-Belle," said Maura Davies, vice president of communications for SPCA of Texas. "She has found a new and loving home where she can live out the rest of her life." The SPCA of Texas said Spears admitted to dumping the dog when he turned himself in, stating his sister wanted to get rid of the dog because she couldn't control her. Spears could face up to a year in prison and a fine up to $4,000. |

A few years ago I picked up a old fat pitbull someone had dropped off by the lake, I saw her there for a few days before I stopped.

Was it just me, or does anyone else wanna see that collar and leash put around his neck and then attached to the trailer hitch of a moving vehicle National Lampoon style?
Fuck that pos! As much as I hate drunk drivers I hope one meets this asshole on the side of the road while it's pouring rain and he's changing a flat tire
They wouldn't sentence him to jail around here; heck, they give felons probation here
But he would get a stiff fine I am sure |
Cute dog.... Is the dog ok? Hope it got a good loving home. Fuck that guy!

It was a very popular place to dump dogs there for a while, then some Russian chick started posting photos and making the city council look bad for not controlling the dumped animals and not taking more action to stop it. Then the city finally stepped up.
The dumpers though just moved on to other parts of town. We had two that have taken up residence at another piece of property we have just a few miles down the road. All the other viral shit you've seen from Dallas is all from the same General part of town. Southeast Dallas is like Florida. |

People around here seem to think if they dump them out in the country some kindly old farmer will take them in.
Nope, that kindly old farmer will blast them with buckshot for messing with their livestock. Or they'll end up cold, hungry, and in a slot pretty low on the food chain. People suck. |
What a massive piece of shit! Too fucking lazy to bother with dropping it off at the SPCA or even taking the rope off its neck. I hope he gets hammered with the max fine and jail!
A fat guy with the name Gorge? The jokes write themselves.
I have a local friend who has a constant stream of abandoned animals show up at their place.
Luckily I'm just far enough where folks seem to want to go out another 5 miles away to dump their animals. |
I think the saddest part about this is that it happens often enough that the county saw a need to put up a camera.

View Quote There's a wooded park behind my office with a creek surrounded by low income neighborhoods. Every time the fire trucks go by with their sirens, the coyotes start howling in the middle of the day. Lots of dogs dumped there. So "Fluffy" isn't going to find a nice home in the country, "Fluffy" will be torn limb from limb and eaten alive. |

The problem is that the punishment is not severe enough. If they make an example out of him with Mandatory Jail Time and Huge Fines, people will think twice about doing this kind of thing.

Dumping is horrible and a POS act but would you guys be sanguine if he simply shot it?
