You don't have to own one, but it does have to be a real weapon.
leave the fantasy and sci-fi stuff for another thread. Pictures are welcomed... Mine generally are axes/hammers/maces GO! |

A reasonable size knife. Unless some takes me out before I close to hand to hand range, they're getting cut.

I like the compound bow too. Attached File

I have a walking staff that my brother made me years ago. Its 46 inches of slightly curved hickory, about an inch and a quarter at the bottom and slightly over two inches at the top. its extremely hard, extends my reach over six feet and hits like a baseball bat. it looks rustic and nice cause its got some of those national park hiking emblems on it and its already in my hands when I am walking. at my age, nobody questions a walking stick.if needed I would hold the bottom end and swing the thicker top end.
if not that, I have an older Cold Steel X2 Voyager folding knife, fully serrated clip point, fits in a pocket more or less and opens to over 13 inches. my edc knife now is a four inch fully serrated Voyager, opens to nine inches. (is there a way to install the X2 blade into the hickory staff?) |

Cold Steel SRK
This knife will put a bad guy into sleepy time in 1 hit. BEST SHTF KNIFE! Cold Steel SRK! |

What I own and use is a good fixed blade knife. Billions of uses besides cutting someone.
What I don't own but would be great is a tazer. 50,000 volts tends to end a lot of aggression. Since this is GD I am going to say either a mall purchased katana or a cross bow with no sights |
