Thanks to one of our members I was able to get my plane back, it landed in a tree not even a quarter mile from where it flew away from. I was sent a PM from the member with a phone number to the person who had recovered it from the tree, I'm not sure of the members name as in the message where it has from: it just has Log, unless his username is Log, but thanks too you I got my plane!

I really didn't think I would ever see it again, I drove around the neighborhood in the direction it was headed but to no avail never saw it.

Resistance is futile.  Glad you recovered your plane.

Will it pull a Phoenix and rise from the ashes, or is it parts recovery for installation into your next plane?

Great story.  Thanks for sharing.  Curious to  see if "Log" comes forward.

I remember in the original thread someone commenting that he may have found your plane, funny that he actually did. This place is incredible sometimes.

Actually it was in really good shape, I will be putting a new receiver in it though.

4chan uses plane flights to find Shia flags, ARF finds planes!

That would be me. Saw it on Nextdoor and had a bit of a "I might be about to become a mini-ARFCOM legend!" moment. Glad it worked out.

I'm an Aggie, and a bunch of us are on Texags.com. There is a saying over there that has been proven true more than once: "TexAgs; we know stuff". I would posit that "ARFCOM; we know stuff" is equally, if not more so, true. ARFCOM is everywhere.

If you had registered it like you are now supposed to by law, I'm sure you would have been found no matter who found it.
