Just added to Netflix as a reboot of the original MST3K. I just watched Reptilicus and Cry Wilderness.

Reptilicus has some gun porn.

The jokes are great! The intro is great! Who needs CGI when there's cardboard?

To be fair, there's a LOT of filler episodes in both the Joel and Mike era. There's a reason Mitchell is a time honored classic but The Brain That Wouldn't Die isn't talked about much. Shit... Season One, where they were ad-libbing most of it and Larry was a mad sucked balls about 90% of the time.

My SO's first introduction to my family included watching Reptilicus. (1961).For some reason the uncut version was on cable.

Why did we use the phrase "Lovable Goofus" in the want ad?

The voices are a little jarring to start. The riffing is pretty OK. Not sure about the mads or their skullfaced sidekicks/band.
